Walter graduated from the University of Georgia and Emory University School of Law. He focused his legal career in business law litigation and represented a number of worldwide corporations, which included GE. He served as a lead national trial attorney for GE (as private counsel) for 25 years. For GE, Walter litigated throughout the eastern US, in federal and state courts. For other worldwide corporations, Walter litigated throughout the US, in Europe and in Canada.
Since 2007, Walter’s legal practice has been solely focused on representing clients regarding their real property tax assessments. Walter’s expertise in this area has been recognized by various Georgia Senators, which culminated in Walter being asked in 2014 to re-write all of the property tax appeal laws for the State of Georgia for the purpose of “leveling the playing field for taxpayers.”  In doing so, Walter appeared and testified before the Georgia Senate Finance Committee and the House Judiciary Committee as an expert on Georgia real property tax appeal laws and regulations. Walter was again requested to work with the Senate Finance Committee in 2015.
